Mozilla has rolled out the stable Fennec 2.0 Alpha for Android phones after releasing the several beta builds. The Fennec Alpha for Android also works for Nokia N900 mobile phone.
Mozilla has rolled out Firefox 4 beta 4 for the testers and especially this upgrade is recommended for the users who are working over previous beta version of Firefox 4.
Mozilla has released a new build of Fennec web browser for Android with some new features. So, if you have installed the previous Fennec on your Android which was released in May, 2010 then its recommended to upgrade to the latest build as its more polished as compare to previous one.
After the release of Firefox 4 beta 1, today Mozilla has rolled out Firefox 4 beta 2 web browser which is available in 23 different languages for all major operating systems like Windows, Mac and Linux.
Apple has approved Firefox Home iPhone app which was submitted to Apple Store by Mozilla on 1st July 2010. Firefox iPhone app provides access to Firefox history, bookmarks and open tabs, just as you had left them on your desktop computer.
Mozilla’s Director of Developer Relations and Open Source Evangelist, Christopher Blizzard spoke about the future of Mozilla mobile web browser. He said in his interview to Gizmodo that Mozilla is facing competition in web browser development with Google Chrome. He also talked about some future plans regarding Mozilla mobile web browser especially he said:
Few days ago Firefox 4 beta 1 was uploaded to FTP servers which was quite a rough version of latest Firefox web browser but now Mozilla has officially released Firefox 4 beta 1 with many new features and new user interface.
Mozilla released Firefox 1.1 for the Nokia N900 mobile phone. Some improvements included to Firefox 1.1 web browser for Nokia are portrait mode, free form zooming and personalized Start page which allows users to pick up the page where they left off.
Mozilla has submitted Firefox Home iPhone app to Apple App Store for approval. Firefox Home app includes many features as users can access their Firefox desktop history, bookmarks, previously opened tabs, web pages on iPhone from where they left off during desktop browsing etc.
Mozilla uploaded Firefox 4 beta 1 candidate build to its FTP servers for downloads. This beta version is very similar to Firefox 3.7a6 so Mozilla did not release any change log for this beta release.
