Mozilla has rolled out the stable Fennec 2.0 Alpha for Android phones after releasing the several beta builds. The Fennec Alpha for Android also works for Nokia N900 mobile phone.
Mozilla has released a new build of Fennec web browser for Android with some new features. So, if you have installed the previous Fennec on your Android which was released in May, 2010 then its recommended to upgrade to the latest build as its more polished as compare to previous one.
Folks at NewsGeek has posted a video demonstration of browser speed test on iPhone 3GS and Samsung Taylor WP7 device.
Mozilla’s Director of Developer Relations and Open Source Evangelist, Christopher Blizzard spoke about the future of Mozilla mobile web browser. He said in his interview to Gizmodo that Mozilla is facing competition in web browser development with Google Chrome. He also talked about some future plans regarding Mozilla mobile web browser especially he said:
Opera has rolled out Opera Mini 5.1 with new improvements and especially it enhances browsing experience on phones with limited memory and small screen size.
Mozilla released Firefox 1.1 for the Nokia N900 mobile phone. Some improvements included to Firefox 1.1 web browser for Nokia are portrait mode, free form zooming and personalized Start page which allows users to pick up the page where they left off.
Just yesterday, Mozilla has rolled out Fennec Pre-Alpha for Android and now Skyfire has released Skyfire 2.0 for Android mobile users.
Mozilla has released the Fennec, Firefox browser for Android 2 mobile users. Although, this is the pre-alpha release of Fennec but it will provide the view and concept of final product to the users.
Mozilla has rolled out the first version of Firefox web browser for Maemo 5 OS based mobile phone devices and the first mobile which will get Firefox Mobile 1.0 is Nokia N900.
Opera has released Opera Mobile 10 Beta 2 web browser for smart phone users whereas in November Opera Mobile 10 Beta 1 was introduced. Opera Mobile 10 Beta 2 works for Windows Mobile and Symbian/S60 because of its new cross-platform UI framework.
