For Mac users the iPhone Dev Team has released PwnageTool 4.3.3 to do untethered iOS 4.3.3 jailbreak, so the following guide will help users to do that on their iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G, and iPad 1.
Note: PwnageTool can preserve iPhone basebands so after jailbreaking you can unlock your iPhone with the latest UltraSn0w 1.2.3.
Untethered iOS 4.3.3 Jailbreak with PwnageTool 4.3.3
Requirements:
- Download iOS 4.3.3
- Download PwnageTool 4.3.3
- Download and install iTunes 10.2.2
Step-1
Unzip the downloaded PwnageTool 4.3.3, copy PwnageTool.app file to desktop and execute it, then click OK button
Step-2
Click on Expert Mode from the left top side of the PwnageTool screen, select your iDevice and click blue arrow to go next
Step-3
Click on Browse for IPSW button and select the downloaded iOS 4.3.3 firmware from your desktop and click arrow to go next
Step-4
Click on General option and go next
Step-5
iPhone users who are on unofficial carrier must select the option Activate the phone, otherwise skip it and go next until you reach to the screen where you have selected General option and this time click on Build Option and hit blue arrow to go next
Step-6
PwnageTool will ask to select a destination folder to save custom iOS 4.3.3 so provide that and Custom IPSW building process will start. During the process it asks to provide admin password
Step-7
When custom IPSW build process will get complete, PwnageTool asks to connect your iDevice to system, and when it will detect your iDevice you have to follow the on screen instructions to put your iDevice into DFU mode
Step-8
Once your iDevice enetred into DFU mode, a message will pop-up and iTunes will also start
Step-9
In iTunes window hold the Alt/Option key and click Restore button
Step-10
Navigate to the folder on your system where you have saved custom iOS 4.3.3 IPSW which was just created, select it and click Open button
Step-11
iTunes will start firmware restore process on your iDevice, which takes about 10 minutes
Done! You have jailbroken iOS 4.3.3 firmware on your iDevice with PwnageTool 4.3.3.
