According to Apple the company has sold out 2 million iPads in two months as iPad was launched in April, 2010. In the first 28 days of iPad launch Apple achieved the target of 1 million iPad sale and now after 60 days it becomes to 2 million.

Although, mostly the iPad sale is counted for the U.S market but as now iPad is launched in international market and available in 9 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the U.K, so let’s see and wait for the next announcement by Apple regarding the number of iPad sale in international market.

With the initial iPad launch Apple also has introduced a separate section in App Store for iPad and now there are about 5,000 iPad specific apps whereas in total App store contains about 200,000 apps which are compatible for iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad.
