Firefox 3.0 was the first web browser by Mozilla which was released in June 2008, and now company has announced that it will not support this old version of Firefox anymore. Up till now Firefox 3.0.18 patches has been released for Firefox 3.0.x and the last one Firefox 3.0.19 is expected on 30th March 2010, which will complete the lifespan of this version of web browser.

Right now, Mozilla is offering different versions of Firefox as Firefox 3.0.x, Firefox 3.5.x and Firefox 3.6.x and all of these are available for downloads but after March 2010 no more support will be given to Firefox 3.0.x.

This is recommendation by Mozilla that the users who are working over Firefox 3.0.x must get an upgrade to any new version of Firefox browser.

So, you may download any of available Firefox version to switch from Firefox 3.0.x, just because of security reasons.
