As few days ago we wrote about Windows Mobile 7 launch which is expected in the second half of 2010. Today, a Russian HTC Twitter account has conformed that HTC HD2 mobile phone will get upgrade to Microsoft Windows Mobile 7.

According to the Russian HTC Twitter translation:

“For Diamond 2 firmware is not planned. Of the existing communicators on the market, only the HD2 firmware to get WM7.”

No doubt HTC HD2 hardware specifications fulfills the requirements of Microsoft which they acquired for Windows Mobile 7 and we hope the above statement by HTC representative will be true.
