To type in a non-Roman language through a Roman keyboard is a difficult task which is especially experienced by the Google’s Bangalore office. To resolve this problem Google has launched a new service Google Transliteration which allows users to type phonetically using Roman characters and translates the script in to your own non-Roman language.
Right now, Google Transliteration provides support for 17 languages as Arabic, Bengali, Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Serbian, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Just chose a language of your choice from the provided list of languages of Google Transliteration and type your words according to the sounds of words and it quickly translates one alphabet to other alphabet and so on. Google Transliteration also provides a list of words as options to select the appropriate one.

For a couple of minutes we played with Google Transliteration and try it by typing in different languages and all the time it works accurately. This is really exciting and useful feature provided by Google.
