Google has announced machine-generated automatic captions feature for Youtube videos which is applicable to most of the Google channels and will be expended to others in near future.

According to Google official blog:

“Captions not only help the deaf and hearing impaired, but with machine translation, they also enable people around the world to access video content in any of 51 languages. Captions can also improve search and even enable users to jump to the exact parts of the videos they’re looking for.”

With this machine-generated automatic captions feature Google also brings another option called automatic caption timing which allows users to create captions manually.
