Google has included a new feature Lock SafeSearch for Google search which allows users to lock the search results to prevent the access to inappropriate images and web sites during search activity.
According to Google official blog:
“SafeSearch helps you avoid content you may prefer not to see or would rather your children did not stumble across. We think it works pretty well, but we’re always looking for ways to improve the feature.”
To apply SafeSearch Lock in Google follow the steps written below:
- Get login to your Google account and then go to Google search and click on Setting > Search settings
- Scroll down to Safesearch Filtering and click on Lock Safesearch
- It’ll ask to enter Google password for conformation, after that click Lock Safesearch button
- It conforms the changes are applied. To indicate that SafeSearch is locked for this browser Google adds colored balls to the top of all search pages

I also want to know how to lock Safe Search on iPods.
Note that for Safe Search settings to remain on your computer, you must allow “cookies” to be stored. Without allowing cookies, Safe Search settings will be lost when you exit the browser or shut off the computer.
