In an interview with PCR magazine Microsoft’s partner group manager Simon Aldous told that we tried to make Windows 7 look like Mac especially in its graphics.

His comments are really enough to push back the impact of newly launched Windows operating system whereas Microsoft is trying so hard to bring the new Windows version forward after a silly operating system Vista but it seems that Microsoft’s management itself is not helping.

After Aldous comments on Windows 7, Microsoft’s Windows Communications Manager Brandon LeBlanc made it clear that:

“An inaccurate quote has been floating around the Internet today about the design origins of Windows 7 and whether its look and feel was “borrowed” from Mac OS X. Unfortunately this came from a Microsoft employee who was not involved in any aspect of designing Windows 7. I hate to say this about one of our own, but his comments were inaccurate and uninformed.”

Our personal comments about the issue are that the operating systems are driven on the basis of user’s behavior and needs, so this is not the matter of copying each other although this may possible for a company to create something similar again because their user want to see some features which are included somewhere else.

On the other hand even Simon Aldous was not involved in the development of Windows 7 but his comments shows the disorganization and miss-management of Microsoft which may harm them in future.
