Google Docs now allows users to export their online saved documents, presentations, spreadsheets, or forms to their computers in compressed archive format. So, if you want to save your Google Docs documents then follow the instructions written below:
1- Login to you Google Docs
2- Click on Select all visible option or manually mark the check boxes to select your documents to whom you want to export

3- Right click anywhere in Google Docs, then More actions >> Export

4- On following window click Continue

5- It starts zipping files and if your files are big in size then Google can also send that zip folder through email after completing process or you can save it directly on desktop
