Palm has released webOS 1.2 for the Palm Pre users and this new version is available for download. The webOS 1.2 includes some bug fixes and addresses several security issues. Some improvements of webOS 1.2 are as follows:

  • Songs could be purchased from Amazon MP3, through phone connection. A Wi-Fi connection is no longer required
  • Allows to download a previously downloaded and deleted app in free
  • Web browser bookmarks are now backed up to Palm profile
  • Search for messages in any email folder
  • Media sync allows for synchronizing photos without requiring the full-resolution originals
