Apple has announced that till now 2 billion apps are downloaded from Apple apps store by iPhone and iPod Touch users. Approximately a year ago Apple launched the app store with 35,000 apps and now the number of apps is 85,000.

There are 50 million iPhone and iPod Touch users Worldwide, and Apple has 125,000 total developers in iPhone apps development program. This is an impressive number of Apps and developers for iPhone and iPod Touch devices, which gives a competitive advantage to Apple in apps market.

We congrats Apple on achieving this milestone of 2 billion downloads, and we hope that soon Apple will announce the next billions of apps downloads news by launching the iPhone in China, because that’s a huge mobile market.
