Google has launched a new service Google Docs Viewer, which allows users to view PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint or Microsoft Word files directly inside the web browser.

The advantage of this new Google service is that users don’t need to download the document first, to view it. Just paste the link of your document to which you want to view in Google Docs Viewer’s Enter a document URL below to generate a link to view it text field and click on Generate link button, it’ll generate different links for the same document which could be used for different purposes, and one of those is To view now, click here option, which instantly open your document inside the web browser.

Google Docs Viewer works with all web browsers including Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc and doesn’t require any extra plug-in or software.
