Microsoft has announced the Office web apps, which will be soon available to all 500 million Windows Live user in free. The Office web apps will allow a user to upload, create, edit, save, share the applications online. These online apps includes the functionality of Microsoft Office applications as Powerpoint, Excel, OneNote or Word. Office web apps users will utilize the free Windows Live SkyDrive as a storage medium for their online documents.


So, with the help of Office web apps it would be easy for users to work with Office applications from anywhere regardless of that either the MS Office is installed on a computer or not.

According to Microsoft Official blog users will be capable to access online Office web apps right through the Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari web browser.

Right now, Microsoft has offered a limited preview of Office web apps only to its “partners”, whereas the beta version of application is expected in this fall.
