Skype team has rolled out Skype 1.2 for iPhone and iPod Touch with many improvements. The new features of Skype 1.2 are as follows:

• Allows to set up call forwarding from iPhone, so you can receive Skype calls on any other specified number while you are not signed in on Skype
• Improved audio quality when making Skype-to-Skype calls
• It’s even easier to send text messages (SMS) – you can now send SMSs from the Call tab
• Free Skype-to-Skype calls
• Sign into Skype via 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS or Edge and send Instant messaging to the online contacts on the go
• Calling is only available over a Wi-Fi connection
• Offers great rates to call worldwide
• Help link included in case you Forgot your password

The only thing is Push Notification, which is not available in Skype 1.2, so Skype team must have to do something to bring that feature in working condition. Until than upgrade your iphone with this new version of Skype and experience its improved features.
