Microsoft adapts a new strategy for the promotion of the new operating system Windows 7. With the official launch parties of Windows 7 hosted by Microsoft in different countries, it also announced house parties by individuals.

These house parties could be arranged by residents in 12 countries worldwide between October 22 and 29. Those countries are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, USA and UK. Microsoft announced that it’ll host 1000 house parties.
