Mac OS X 10.6, or Snow Leopard due date for shipping was somehow in September but Apple announced that its shipping will be started on August 28.


Whereas Snow Leopard was placed for pre-order in the beginning of August with the price $29.00 for users who want to upgrade from 10.5 version to new one.

A lot of enhancement are done in OS X 10.6, some of those are following:

  • Advanced, and more nimble Finder
  • Faster and easier in use
  • New look, new features for Exposé and Stacks
  • Quicker Time Machine backup
  • Faster to wake up and shut down
  • Smaller footprint and many more
  • Automatic time zone setup
