Mac OS X 10.6, or Snow Leopard due date for shipping was somehow in September but Apple announced that its shipping will be started on August 28.
Whereas Snow Leopard was placed for pre-order in the beginning of August with the price $29.00 for users who want to upgrade from 10.5 version to new one.
A lot of enhancement are done in OS X 10.6, some of those are following:
- Advanced, and more nimble Finder
- Faster and easier in use
- New look, new features for Exposé and Stacks
- Quicker Time Machine backup
- Faster to wake up and shut down
- Smaller footprint and many more
- Automatic time zone setup
