According to Google official blog company has updated Image Search for feature mobile phones. The new version is optimized and could display more images in search as compare to early version.

And if you click on search result image, that opens a big thumbnail in a new page with such a detail about image and also provides the direct link to that image. This new Image Search version includes 10 more countries, so now its working in 38 countries worldwide.
