Google Chrome is equipped with built-in support to bookmarks Synchronization. The latest dev version of Chrome web browser allows users to synchronize the bookmarks to Google account, these synchronized bookmarks will be stored in Google Docs, so you can easily use your bookmarks anywhere.


Though, other web browser as Firefox, Safari and some others also have capability to sync bookmarks but those use third party tools to do so. In this sense, right now the bookmarks synchronization is a unique feature of Google Chrome.

How to enable Bookmarks Sync in Google Chrome:

  • Download the latest Google Chrome from developers channel
  • Install it and right click on its shortcut then go to Properties
  • Edit Target field by adding ” –enable-sync” & save the changes
  • Now, restart browser, you’ll find Sync My Bookmarks option in Tool menu. So, click it to start the Sync process through your Google account
