As we talked earlier about twitter denial of service attack, whereas Facebook reported that its also suffering by the same attack as twitter. According to some internet resources Facebook and Twitter are working together to defend these distributed denial of service attacks (DDOS) and also struggling to find out the sources of attacks.

Facebook said:

“Earlier this morning, Facebook encountered network issues related to an apparent distributed denial of service attack, that resulted in degraded service for some users. No user data was at risk and we have restored full access to the site for most users. We’re continuing to monitor the situation to ensure that users have the fast and reliable experience they’ve come to expect from Facebook.”

This is really a worse situation created by DDOS for big social networks. After these attacks Facebook is still working whereas Twitter was remained offline yesterday for 2 hours.

i love to Twitter my day to day activities to my friends and followers. Twitter is much better than blogging because it is direct to the point and does not require you to type so many unnecessary words.
