Apple has blocked all Google Voice services from Apple Store. According to Apple these Google Voice services are duplicates of iPhone features. whereas Google Voice application is one of the best telephony app for mobile phones and iPhone itself.
Google Spokesman says that ” We work hard to bring Google applications to a number of mobile platforms, including the iPhone. Apple did not approve the Google Voice application we submitted six weeks ago to the Apple App Store. We will continue to work to bring our services to iPhone users — for example, by taking advantage of advances in mobile browsers.”
Google Voice service offers very suitable packages to make long-distance calls and facilitates users to send free SMS, which scares the carrier service providers.
This is not a surprising action of Apple to block Google’s Voice app from its store, because last week
iPhone Google Latitude app was also banned by Apple. Maybe this is the part of any new business strategy of Apple to block the Google apps from its store.
