Gmail Labs has introduced a new feature to translate your received emails in your own language. Suppose you have Customer, Colleagues or Friends in foreign countries, who don’t write your language then it doesn’t mean that they could not communicate with you.They’ll write email message in their language and you could translate that one to your language. To make it easy Gmail engineers has introduced translation option in Google mail. So, if you just understand English language but your colleague feels more comfortable to write an email in Chines language then you can easily translate his mail to your language by this option.
Follow these steps to enable this option in you Gmail:

  • Sign in to Gmail
  • Settings > Labs
  • Enable Message translation
  • Click Save Changes button to make it affective

Now, whenever you receive any email in any other language, it shows the option to Translate message to: your language. So, you can set your own language from Change language option. It translates subject and message of email but keeps the original message saved.

So, enable this translation option of Gmail if you require.
