In my previous post, I shared Download Windows 7 Pre-Beta Build 6801. As I have not tried the provided key to activate Windows 7 Pre-Beta release rather a 30 days trial works fine. So, this time I have come up with a hack about extending Windows 7 Pre-Beta Trial period up to 90 days.

we’ll surely get our hands on to the final release of Windows 7 within 2 months. So by extending expiry of the Pre-Beta release to 90 days will easily catch the final release before expiry.

The hack is the same one that most users used to extend expiry date of Windows Vista Pre-Beta release. Here’s how to extend Windows 7 Pre-Beta Trial period from 30 to 90 day:

1. Download Windows 7 Pre-Beta Build 6801and burn the image file (*.ISO) to DVD.
2. After Burning the DVD, install Windows 7 Pre-Beta from that DVD as a 30 days trial. Don’t provide any key.
3. When you are done with the installation, open up the Command Prompt.
4. Try any of these three commands
   • sysprep /generalize
   • slmgr.vbs –rearm
   • rundll32 slc.dll,SLReArmWindows and hit Enter.
     
5. Reboot and enjoy another 30 days of trial

This method will extend Windows 7 Trial’s expiry for more 30 days. you can apply this method only twice so make sure you apply it when your trial is about to expire.
