As discussed here about ‘Chrome’, a Web Browser by Google, to stand up in Web Browser market. No doubt an awesome release under Google flagship that is warmly welcomed and enjoyed by a lot many Windows web users. But Mac and Linux users remained deprived of this decent release by Google.
Some users had already got Google Chrome on their Mac and Linux OS using the virtual environment. But now some guys at CodeWeavers, using the source code of open source web browser: Google Chrome, have come up with a port of Chrome for Mac OS X and Linux OS. They call it ‘CrossOver Chromium’. Using this release one need not to have a virtual environment to install to get Chrome working.

Although Chromium works like charm but developers at CodeWeavers says not to use Chromium as a default web browser. They says it’s “a proof of concept, for fun, and to showcase what Wine can do.” It’s not intended to replace the official release of native Google Chrome for Mac OS X and Linux.
