Asus has launched Asus P552w; a Gide enabled PDA phone. This new Glide enables PDA phone targets tech professionals.

Glide is a new touch user interface, developed by Asus itself, that contains Asus Today, EziPhoto, Ezi Music and Anytime Launcher.

This new Asus P552w comes up with some powerful features. These features include its powerful CPU i.e. Marvell Tavor 624MHz, 256MB Flash with 128MB DDR memory, 3.5G HSDPA connectivity that enables user to browse internet at share files at a fast pace. Asus features Microsoft Windows® Mobile 6.1™ Professional as OS.

It has 2.0 Mega pixel Fixed Focus Camera, a Display size of 2.8″ TFT, Touch Screen 65K color, QVGA 240 x 320 pixels with 102 x 60.5 x 14.5 mm dimensions. Connectivity options available in this PDA phone includes: WLAN 802.11b&g , USB v1.1(FS), Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR. Asus P552w also features a MicroSD slot with SDHC support.

Standby time is claimed to be 300hrs with 3G enables,250hrs with 2G and a talk time of 3hrs with 3G and 5 hrs with 2G.
