In June 2008 Apple Inc. announced about its MobilMe service in the World Wide Developer Conference. In this week Apple is going to launch its new service by replacing .Mac with MobileMe for 3G iphone and ipod.

So, the users of .Mac will get the service off line and will not be able to get access to the service for 6 hours duration. With in this time Apple will make the replacement transaction between the services.

MobileMe service will be capable to provide different functionalities like web-based email,files, calendar, storage capabilities, addressbook and photos. It’ll also provide support to the Push syncing and MS Server 2007. Its subscription fee for 1 year is as similar to the .Mac, thats $99.
