Mozilla has released RC1 of Firefox 3. RC stands for Release Candidate and that means the browser is at a stage where it has complete features and its code is stable enough to make available for public testing. Mozilla warns that users of the current Firefox 3 shouldn’t expect all their existing browser plug-ins to work correctly in this release. After fixing any serious bug found in this release, RC1 will become the official release of Firefox 3.
Firefox is a popular open-source web browser. In new Firefox 3, you’ll notice maybe two dozen new and improved features.
Some of the improvements include:
- Improved security
- Better ease-of-use
- Personalization features
