The Video sharing Giant, YouTube, has introduced an Indian flavored YouTube version.
It’s a copy of complete old database but great prominence is given to the contents from Indian. Now you can know what’s popular among Indians YouTube visitors. Featured videos are programmed to be relevant to Indians and video chart shows what’s being watched by Indians.
According to a news, partners to distribute stuff through YouTube includes Zoom channel from the Bennet Coleman & Co, UTV and Rajshri Group and others.
It’s almost 20th Localized version of YouTube. Lets see if it could compete in Indian Market. I don’t expect results like Korean version of YouTube, where it’s crushed by local competitors, as Alexa shows an impressive traffic standing for YouTube i.e: 5th in India.
