Only yesterday I discovered that Express TV live can be watched on computer in UK. I watched POINT BLANK hosted by Mubasshar Luqman. It was a frank programme but sound quality wasn’t good perhaps because of noise created by the road traffic in the background. Would my old old friend Ustad Ji Abbas Athar care to advise the concerned to present such wonderful programmes in strictly sound proof environment.

Sugar Crisis
Who ever used high court to strangle the free trade in Pakistan is criminal. In a democratic country such decisions should be taken by the elected members of parliament. Because their bad decisions will incur public wrath and next time they wont be elected, private business is governed by competition and government responsibility is to make sure that there is more supply than demand. Responsible governments plan ahead and don’t wait for the crises to occur.
Any obstacle can be overcome with; enough resources; good planing and superior technology. Pakistan has a population growth out of control where everyone is left to survive on their own, with few employment opportunities and corruption is the order of the day. Government or civil employees who get the job through back door soon learn how to fit in the corrupt system for their own survival. A bad decision by a Government will be a very costly venture. I think final decisions should be taken after evaluating different options, just like an engineer, firstly testing a small model of a design then building the project.
