YouTube,in Pakistan, has been blocked for blasphemous web content. All the internet service providers blocked the access to Youtube for sharing blasphemous content by the order of Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA). Youtube, in Pakistan, is blocked on PIE (Pakistan Internet Exchange) from where the whole Pakistan internet traffic passes through. So, YouTube is blocked for whole Pakistan.

To remind, YouTube is a web where people can easily Share videos and can put those videos on websites, blogs, emails, mobile phones.

Blocking contents on religious or political basis does not address the issue and leaves an unhealthy curiosity in the minds of victims. And second thing technologically such blocks does not work as there are many ways to get rid of such blocks.
