Interview questions are always stressful even for job seekers who have gone on countless interviews. The best way to overcome this stress is to be prepared. Research the company that way you will be ready to answer for the question specifically to the company.

Different interviewer can ask different questions so we can not cover all of them but there are 30 questions and their answers that hopefully useful to prepare for a job interview.

Question1: Tell me something about yourself?
You must prepared short statement in your mind about yourself. Limit it to work-related only. Talk about yourself straightly. Start with the item farthest back and come up to the present one.

Question2: Where did you find the advertisement of this job?
Tell them about the media from where you found e.g. newspaper, radio, TV or internet.

Question3: Why did you want to work here?
The interviewer wants to listen that why you want to be here. You can satisfy him in this way For example, “I’ve selected many key companies, whose mission statements are in line with my interests and this company is very high on my list of desirable choices.”

Question4: Do you have experience in this field?
First, if you have related experience then point out truly. And if you’ve no experience tell him that you are a hard working and quick learner so you’ll learn.

Question5: Have you applied for other jobs?
Be honest but do not spend a lot of time in this area. Show your interest that you want to job in this organization.

Question6: Do you think your qualification is according to this position?
You must say that you are very well qualified for the position.

Question7: Are your skills match to this job or another?
Don’t say that you want another job more than this. Just say probably this one.

Question8: why do you want to do this job?
You can say that you’ve knowledge, specific skills according to requirement. And have interest to do this.

Question9: What are your Goals?
Do not explain your future goals clearly. Just simply talk about short-term and intermediate goals rather than locking yourself. For example say my goal is to get a job in a well growing company.

Question10: What can you do for us?
This question is just to judge your skills, attitude and qualities. Summarize yourself concisely. For example you can say, I have unique skills and strong ideas. So it will be good for organization.

Question11: which techniques you will apply to achieve a goal?
Adopt the technical way to answer this, because here interviewer will analyze your technical skills and knowledge regarding the job.

Question12: What are your positive qualities your last Boss would say about you?
This is a great way to show off about you through someone else’s words. You can say my boss has told me that I am the best designer he has ever had.

Question13: Can you work as a team player?
Tell here clearly that you can work as a team player and you’ll prefer the benefit of whole team.

Question14:what is your weakness?
Be original and state a true weakness, but emphasize what you’ve done to overcome it.

Question15: Why should we hire you?
Do not compare yourself with another. Just talk about your technical skills and working capacity that you’ll be well for organization.

Question16: Can you give me a plan in well-fare of organization?
Put a good suggestion in front of interviewer. Emphasize benefits to the organization.

Question17: How long you can join us?
Do not specify the time period here. Just say as long as we both feel good.

Question18: What do you think towards work?
Be positive to showing a benefit to the organization.

Question19: Which type of co-workers irritates you?
This is a trap question to check your attitude. But you can say I never feel comfortable with people who are dishonest with work. Other wise I can do work with anyone. You must show here that you can work and handle different types of people with patience.

Question20: Tell me your greatest strength?
Different answers can be given, just stay positive. For example you can say about your problem-solving skills, your ability to work under pressure, your ability to focus on projects, your technical expertise, your leadership skills, your positive attitude, your creativity.

Question21: What do you think money is more important or work?
Without work you can not earn money so money is important but work is most important.

Question22: Can you work under pressure?
You may say that you prosper under certain types of pressure. And that’s a challenging situation Give an example that relates to the type of position applied for.

Question23: In which positions do you feel better to work in a team-work?
Be honest here. Point out different roles in which you feel comfortable.

Question24: How can you manage a specific situation?
Explain by taking an example situation, this style will be safe, because it says you will manage according to the situation.

Question25: Are you willing to work overtime? Nights or Weekends?
Answer it frankly as you want.

Question26: can you give preference to organization over your own interest?
Say yes, because it’s just to check your loyalty and dedication.

Question27: can you easily relocate if it’s required?
You must be clear about this so, first discuss it with your family. Then you will be to provide answer to this. Do not say yes just to get the job if the real answer is no. This can create a lot of problems later on for you and organization both. Be honest at this point.

Question28: How much salary do you expect here?
You must be aware the going rate of salary in your area. But don’t answer quickly. Don’t put your demand first. This question needs tricky answer; probably you’ll lose if you answer first. Just say this is a tough question. Can you tell me the range for this position?

Question29: What qualities should a boss posses?
Be generic and positive. You can say boss must loyal to subordinates and holder of high standards and qualifications.

Question30: Do you have any question?
Keep some questions in your mind to make interviewer. When I can join? And what type of projects will I be able to assist on? These are examples of questions.
